How It Works
The conversion runs on the server using LibreOffice Calc's soffice --headless --convert-to pdf command. This method supports both Office Open XML (.xlsx) and legacy Binary (.xls) formats. To maintain performance and resource management, the server limits processing to two concurrent LibreOffice instances with a 90-second timeout per conversion. Uploaded files are temporarily stored in Cloudflare R2 storage with a two-hour time-to-live to ensure data privacy and automatic cleanup.
